-A North Platte man convicted of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault-2nd Offense, is going to prison.
Melque Martinez, Jr., was sentenced Monday in Lincoln County District Court to 1 3/4 to 4 years in prison. Martinez was charged in February. Judge Donald Rowlands noted Martinez’ lengthy criminal record, dating back to 1990, prior to handing down the sentence.
Martinez was given credit for 101 days already served.
-A North Platte woman convicted of stealing from her own Grandmother, was senteced to 240 days in the Lincoln County Detention Center for Attempted Burglary.
Stephanie Gutherless was charged with stealing prescription medication from her Grandma in June.
Gutherless was given credit for 117 days already served.
-A 29-year old North Platte man received 364 days in county jail for attempted 2nd Degree Assault.
Anthony Nunnenkamp, along with Virgil Apodaca, Sr. and Virgil Apodaca, Jr., were charged with First Degree Sexual Assault in May 2012. The charge was reduced after Nunnenkamp made a plea deal with prosecutors.
The elder Apodaca was sentenced to 365 days in jail for the crime. Virgil Apodaca, Jr. will appear in Court in November.
Nunnenkamp received credit for 120 days already served.
