(AP) — A fire has damaged a landmark Omaha restaurant building.
The fire was reported around 11 p.m. Sunday at the site of the former Mister C’s steakhouse in northeast Omaha. A police helicopter’s thermal imaging system was put to work helping firefighters attack hot spots.
No injuries have been reported. The fire cause is being investigated.
The restaurant was one of several operated by the Caniglia family. It was opened as Royal Boy in 1954 and became Mister C’s in the 1970s.
It closed in 2007.
