A North Platte woman has been placed under arrest after a powdery substance confiscated from her in July tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to a North Platte Police Department news release, officers responded to an apartment in the 900 block of North Dewey at around 8:15 p.m on November 10th and made contact 29-year-old Kizzie Ross.

Police say Ross was arrested in July, and was found to be in possession of a self-seal baggie containing a white residue.  The baggie was sent to the Nebraska State Patrol lab for testing and, on November 5th, law enforcement received the results of the test which identified the substance as meth.

Officers placed Ross under arrest for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance stemming from the July arrest.

Ross was transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center where she was processed and released.
