(AP) — Police say a 29-year-old man has died of his injuries sustained when he ran a red light in west Omaha.
The crash happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of 168th and Blondo streets. Police say Zachery Shedd ran a red light and was hit by a van driven by a 65-year-old Fremont man. Both Shedd’s car and the van hit a third car stopped at the intersection.
Police say Shedd was taken to Creighton University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt.
