Lincoln – The Nebraska women’s basketball team will play Creighton on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena, the Huskers announced on Monday, Nov. 25.
The game between Nebraska (5-0) and Creighton (3-2) had previously been listed as “TBA” on published schedules, while the Huskers awaited the match time for the NCAA Lincoln Regional final volleyball match the same day at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. That match will be televised by the ESPN family of networks at 8 p.m.
The tip time also took into consideration the Nebraska men’s basketball 3 p.m. tip time that day against Arkansas State at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The men’s game is being televised by the Big Ten Network.
Last season, Nebraska and Creighton both advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, with the Huskers moving on to the NCAA Sweet 16. The game is not scheduled to be televised. Tickets are available at Huskers.com or by calling 1-800-8-BIG-RED.

– The Huskers are ranked in the top 10 in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls after climbing one spot to No. 10 in the AP Poll on Monday.
– Jordan Hooper was named to the Naismith Trophy Early Season Top 50 today by the Atlanta Tip-Off Club. It is the third season that Hooper has appeared on the Naismith national player-of-the-year list. Hooper is averaging 18.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game so far this season.
