ODESSA, Neb. (AP) — A woman left behind a dining room full of happy Thanksgiving diners in south-central Nebraska when she paid their buffet bills.
The woman entered the Sapp Brothers travel center just off Interstate 80’s Odessa interchange on Thursday and walked up to the cash register. She told an employee she wanted to pay for everyone’s meals.
Waitress Token Brown says the woman wanted to remain anonymous as she paid $574 to cover the meals and gave big tips to the waitresses and cooks.
Brown says the woman said she “just felt like God told her to come in and pay for everybody’s meal and pay it forward.”
