LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The Lincoln school board has scheduled a Feb. 11 special election on a $153 million bond measure.
On Tuesday the board also approved a 10-year facilities plan for how the money will be spent.
The board wants to build an elementary school and a middle school on the southeast side of the city and provide security and technology updates and renovations at other district buildings.
Officials say the bond measure won’t require raising property taxes because other bond debt is being paid off.
