OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A 43-year-old Oklahoma man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for taking a teenage girl from her suburban Omaha home to his Oklahoma home for sex.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Nebraska said Wednesday that Dennis Lewis was sentenced for his conviction of transporting a minor for sex.

An investigator said in a court affidavit that Lewis asked the 14-year-old Bellevue girl for sex via text messages, persuaded her to send him nude pictures of herself and sent her pictures of his genitals. Prosecutors say Lewis picked up the girl from her Bellevue home on April 10. Police in Tulsa found Lewis and the girl at his home.
