WALTHILL, Neb. (AP) — Authorities have charged a northeast Nebraska man with vehicular homicide in the death of a 20-year-old woman killed in a rollover crash.
20-year-old Miguel Tapia, of Walthill, turned himself in to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday.
He faces the felony vehicular homicide charge and a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving.
The charges stem from a Nov. 23 crash that killed 20-year-old Princess Morris, of Macy. She was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Tapia, who lost control and rolled the vehicle near Walthill.
Details about Tapia’s next court appearance weren’t immediately available.
