(AP) — A man from central Nebraska was sentenced to prison for 15 to 30 years after being convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Donald Grafe denied at his trial that he’d had sex with the girl at a Lincoln truck stop in 2012, but on Monday he broke down crying and apologized before being sentenced for first-degree sexual assault of a child. A jury found Grafe guilty in November.
Lancaster County District Judge Karen Flowers sentenced Grafe, of Clarks, to 15 to 30 years. Grafe won’t be eligible for parole until he serves 15 years.
The girl’s mother is serving 92 to 120 years in prison, having been convicted of prostituting her 14- and 7-year-old daughters in in Buffalo, Franklin and Furnas counties.
