Oligario “Jessie” Perez, 77, of Cartwright, Okla., passed away Dec. 27, 2013.

Jessie was born on Jan. 3, 1936, in Martindale, Texas, to Victor and Mary (Sanchez) Perez. His family later moved to North Platte.

He married Jennie Vieyra, of North Platte, and they had three boys.

He coached Little League baseball, was a member of the National Guard Armory and was involved with the MAC softball origination in North Platte. His favorite pastime was fishing.

He later married Jen Sharp.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother; a sister, Eva Flores; and a brother, Robert Perez.

He is survived by his sons, Jessie “Leroy,” Victor (Laurie) and Marty; a brother, Gilbert Perez; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Platte.
