Richard A. “Ricky” Heiser, 49, of Denver, Colo., passed away Jan. 2, 2014, due to complications from cancer.

Ricky loved to fish and camp in the mountains.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Sharon Heiser, of North Platte; his father, Richard F., of Texas; his brothers, Mike (Elizabeth), Anthony (Alycia), both of North Platte; his sister, Rebecca (John) Peterson, of Stapleton; his nephews, Justin, Garrett, Levi, Alex and Nick; one niece, Cayleayna; his aunts, Eloner Davis, of North Platte, Carol McCormick, of Strausburg, Colo.; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peanuts and Estetine Holm and Richard and Katherine Heiser.

Cremation was chosen. There will be services in Denver and North Platte at a later date.
