(AP) — An Omaha man faces up to 20 years in federal prison for robbing a central Iowa bank a year ago.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the northern district of Iowa says 44-year-old Michael Clayton, of Omaha, was convicted Thursday by a federal jury in Sioux City of one count of bank robbery.

Proseuctors say Clayton took more than $11,000 from the Citizens’ State Bank in Fort Dodge on Feb. 7, 2013, with the help of another man, Christopher Anderson, who acted as a getaway driver.

Anderson pleaded guilty last year to being an accessory and faces up to 10 years when he’s sentenced on March 5.

Clayton remains in custody of the United States Marshal pending sentencing, which will be set at a later date.
