(AP) — A 24-year-old Omaha man is recovering from a gunshot wound after his SUV crashed into a pole.
The incident happened shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday in northwest Omaha.
Police officers found the crashed SUV near 84th and Blondo streets. A 21-year-old man who had been cut told police someone had fired on the SUV before the crash. The 21-year-old was a passenger.
Officers found the 24-year-old driver near 88th and Maple streets with a gunshot wound. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
