A traffic stop on Interstate 80 near the Lincoln Airport exit in Lancaster County landed a Wisconsin man in jail after a trooper seized nearly 18 lbs. of marijuana from the pickup he was driving.
Just before 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, a trooper stopped an eastbound 2010 Ford F150 extended cab pickup for speeding 80 mph in a 65 mph zone, near the Lincoln Airport exit. An NSP canine indicated to the odor of drugs coming from the pickup. A search of the pickup led to the seizure of 17.8 lbs. of marijuana. The marijuana was located in three duffel bags in the rear passenger side of the vehicle.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, Nicholas Pacocha,28, Cedarburg, Wis., was lodged in the Lancaster County Corrections on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
