ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos gave Peyton Manning another offensive target, selecting Indiana wide receiver Cody Latimer in the second round of the NFL draft.
Denver drafted Latimer 56th overall, moving up six spots in a trade on Friday night with the San Francisco 49ers.
Latimer had 72 catches for 1,096 yards and nine TDs for the Hoosiers last season.
The Broncos took Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby with the No. 31 pick in the first round on Thursday.
