OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A police standoff in north Omaha involving a man has ended without incident.
Omaha Sgt. Michael McGee says officers set up perimeters around a home Wednesday afternoon after receiving a report of a suicidal individual. Police established communication with a man inside the home. He told them he had lighter fluid.
The man eventually surrendered without incident. He’s set to undergo an evaluation.
Authorities have not released the man’s name. Additional information was not available.
