BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) — A police chase has ended in a crash that sent two people to an Omaha hospital.

Bellevue police say officers were chasing a car late Monday night, but soon called off the chase after determining that it posed a danger to other people.

Moments later, the driver of the car crashed into two parked, unoccupied vehicles in Bellevue.

Paramedics took the male driver to a hospital in critical condition. A female passenger was also taken with less severe injuries.
