LEMOYNE, Neb. (AP) — A woman has been arrested after a train rammed her car north of Lake McConaughy.

The driver wasn’t in her car but was arrested later on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Keith County Sheriff Jeff Stevens says the train hit the car about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Stevens says the woman told officers she was traveling northbound when she swerved to miss an animal. Her car left the road and became high-centered on the train tracks.
