Todd and Ann Bissell, of North Platte. are the winners of the 2014 Dale Studley Memorial
Award.

Todd served on the NEBRASKAland DAYS Board of Directors from 1993 to 1996 and has
remained active with the Cody Cavalry every since. Additionally, he served on the Arena and Security
committees.

Todd used his mechanical expertise to help build a number of things in and
around the Wild West Arena, and he’s made valuable donations to the organization both while he
was a part of it, and during a recent expansion.

Todd and Ann volunteer throughout the Celebration, but not just for NEBRASKAland
DAYS Events. Todd’s latest passion is cooking, and it is in that capacity where he spends most of
his time. He’s cooked countless pounds of food for artist dinners, and for Miss Rodeo Nebraska
functions. Officials say he donates his time and his equipment freely.

“Todd is a great example of what it means to be a member of the NEBRASKAland DAYS
Family,” said Executive Director David Fudge. “He’s a valued friend and answers the call
whenever and wherever we need him.”
