BURWELL, Neb. (AP) — The Smithsonian “Traveling Museum of Music” program will be featured as part of a weekend of living history at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park in central Nebraska.
The free program is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on July 6.
The program is based on stories and songs about music that was popular during every war in which America has been engaged, starting with the Revolutionary War.
The fort sits between Burwell and Ord, off Nebraska Highway 11 in Valley County. Each vehicle entering the park is required to have a park entry permit.
