COZAD, Neb. (AP) — A 38-year-old Cozad man who had been baby-sitting for two families has been charged with child sexual assault.

Lael Arpan was arrested Friday. Dawson County Jail records show Arpan remained in custody on Tuesday, pending $2 million bail. His attorney didn’t immediately return a call from The Associated Press.

Court documents say the Cozad Police Department was contacted by two Cozad families last week. Arpan had been living with one of the families and was baby-sitting for both.
