NebraskaLand National Bank kicked off the “Fill the Backpack” promotion July 30, as a way to support students and teachers as they head back to school.

The promotion will be conducted through the Bank’s Facebook Page through August 15, to raise funds for classrooms in local schools.

One new NebraskaLand National Bank Facebook Page “like” equals a $1 donation, up to $100 for each classroom.  The Bank will donate to a new classroom every 100 new page likes, up to 10 classrooms.

The community can nominate a teacher or classroom to be the recipient of the donation.  The nominations will be put in a drawing and funds will be awarded to the drawing winners.  The Bank hopes to reach their goal of awarding 10 classrooms with $100 each.
