GERING, Neb. (AP) — Former Gering Council Member Jill McFarland says she hasn’t decided yet whether to have her name removed from the November ballot.

McFarland, who resigned from the council last month, was reprimanded by the council on Monday for emails she’d sent to other council members and derogatory comments she’d made while still in office.

She’ll be listed as a candidate for re-election unless she files with the county to have her name removed.
