Randy “Ghetto” Allan Marquette, age 57 of North Platte, passed away Wednesday August 27, 2014.
Randy was born on July 20, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to Allan John and Toni (Larson) Marquette. He graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1975. He enjoyed his family get-togethers, going fishing and camping, and especially hockey. He played hockey in his younger years and wrestled in high school. Randy met the love of his life, Phyllis and had never been happier. His dog, Ace, was his best friend, as was Mazzie and Macho. He was a good listener; a person could talk to him about anything. We will miss him dearly.
Randy is survived by his love Phyllis; his mother Toni Marquette; 3 sisters Roxanne (Richard) Merksick of North Platte, Sheryl (Darell) Kackmeister of Union, NE, and Jody (Fred) Stanley of Omaha; 1 brother Dan (Susan) Marquette of Kearney; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and also his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Allan Marquette in 2013.
Memorials are suggested in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 30, 2014 at the Adams and Swanson Chapel with Chaplain Robin Storer officiating. Those wishing to do so may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday August 29, 2014 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
