Transient Arrested After Debacle at NP Eatery

A 30-year-old transient is facing charges after he allegedly created a drunken scene at a North Platte restaurant.

At around 2:45 p.m., on August 30, North Platte Police responded to a disturbance at the Mongolian Grill and Cold Stone Creamery.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with employees, who alleged that Randy Nevsimal was trying to get food and being belligerent with employees.

After investigating further, officers placed Nevsimal under arrest.

He was transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and jailed.

He’s been charged with disturbing the peace, criminal mischief and consumption of alcohol in public.
