GERING, Neb. (AP) — Bridge work is scheduled to begin this coming week on Nebraska Highway 71 in Scotts Bluff County.

The Nebraska Roads Department says expansion joints will be replaced at five bridge locations. There will be lane closures and reduced speeds.

The work is expected to be finished this fall.
