A North Platte man is going to prison for selling methamphetamine in the North Platte/Lincoln County area.

Timothy Caudillo appeared for sentencing, Monday, in Lincoln County District Court.

Caudillo was one of 17 people arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and C.O.D.E. Drug task force, in June, for distribution of methamphetamine.

Lincoln County Attorney Rebecca Harling asked Judge Donald Rowlands for a lengthy sentence in the Nebraska State Penitentiary.

Caudillo’s attorney, Angela Franz, said that Caudillo accepted responsibility for his crime, and was ready to turn his life around.

Judge Rowlands then sentenced Caudillo to two to six years in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, for distribution of methamphetamine.

He was given credit for 56 days served in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
