OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — One Omaha man died and another was injured when an SUV collided with a tow truck late Saturday.
Omaha police say alcohol was likely a factor in the crash that happened near 13th and Center streets shortly before midnight.
Police say 48-year-old Eric Hallett was driving north on 13th Street when he crossed the center line. Then his 1998 Dodge Durango collided with a 2005 Freightliner tow truck.
Hallett died at the scene of the crash.
Police say the tow truck driver, 43-year-old Dennis Logue, was treated for a broken leg after the crash.
