OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting after finding a man’s body behind an apartment building in northeast Omaha.

Omaha police say gunshots were detected at 2:47 a.m. Sunday by the city’s ShotSpotter system.

Officers found a man’s body behind the Spencer Apartments just north of 28th and Spencer streets.

Police did not immediately release the victim’s name or many details about the shooting.
