CHADRON, Neb. (AP) — Authorities in the Nebraska Panhandle have arrested a man who they say sexually assaulted a child.

Chadron Police Chief Tim Lordino said the man was arrested Wednesday on three counts of first-degree sexual assault. He says officers received the complaint on Tuesday about the 24-year-old Chadron man.

Police didn’t say how old the victim was.

The man is being held on $250,000 bond at the Dawes County Jail.
