FREMONT, Neb. (AP) — Three Nebraska school districts will receive federal grants worth more than $1.3 million to help promote safety.
The federal Department of Education said the Fremont, Lincoln and Papillion-La Vista school districts will all receive grants.
The money is supposed to be used to help schools districts make their schools safer and reduce gun violence.
Fremont will receive $750,000. Papillion-La Vista will receive $325,411, and Lincoln will get $260,117.
