LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A former high school administrator in Papillion has been named executive director of the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame Foundation.
Chuck Johnston succeeds Larry Munksgaard, who resigned last month to spend more time with his family.
Foundation board president Dick Beechner made the announcement Sunday at the organization’s hall-of-fame induction ceremony in Lincoln.
Ten former Nebraska high school athletes and four coaches were inducted into the hall of fame.
