Omaha Science Cafe Topic: The Body After Death

Science CafeOMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The next Omaha Science Café will focus on what happens to a person’s body once his or her life has ended.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St.

Geoffrey Talmon is an associate professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and he will discuss embalming methods and how some chemicals used to treat illness can turn skin green after death.
