OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Recent discoveries at biblical sites will be discussed at a conference at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
The annual Batchelder Conference for Biblical Archaeology will be held Nov. 13-15.
The focus of this year’s event will be on the biblical city of Bethsaida and other recent discoveries. Bethsaida is one of the most frequently mentioned cities in the New Testament.
One of the speakers at the conference will be Jon Seligman, who oversees excavation for the Israel Antiquities Authority.
Attending the conference costs $10, and UNO students can attend free with their student identification.
