LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Members of the British national team will face representatives of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s speech and debate team to debate social media.

The debate, “Are Social Media a Threat to Human Creativity?” is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln. It will be the third event in the 2014-15 E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues series.

This year’s Thompson Forum theme is “The Creative World.” It explores creativity’s impact on people and societies.
