OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Three members of a northwest Omaha family have escaped flames from a house fire.

Fire officials say the fire was reported a little before 2 a.m. Wednesday. A smoke alarm had awakened the three, who got out of the house without injury.

Fire officials say flames from a fireplace had jumped to a ceiling.
