
A 19-year-old North Platte man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a juvenile.
North Platte Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2300 block of West 6th Street, at around 1:30 p.m., on November 14.
Upon arrival, a 15-year-old male alleged that Martin Sellers III had confronted him at his residence, then punched him.
After punching the boy, Sellers reportedly got into the passenger side of a blue pickup and chased after the teen, who was running away.
Officers made contact with Sellers at 3:30 a.m. the next day, and placed him under arrest.
He was charged with felony aggravated child abuse.
Sellers was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
