OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A 20-year-old woman has been accused of stabbing a man in Omaha.

Police say 20-year-old Vanessa Kasun faces charges of use of a weapon to commit a felony and first-degree assault. Court records do not list an attorney.

Kasun is accused of stabbing and slashing a man Tuesday night following a fight between the two and Kasun’s boyfriend. The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but with non-life-threatening injuries. He was in serious but stable condition Wednesday morning.

Police say Kasun fled the scene after the attack. She was later arrested.
