LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln man accused of raping an 18-year-old woman in a west Lincoln home faces a felony charge in the case.
19-year-old Austin Phipps was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault.
In an arrest warrant charging Phipps, Lincoln police say Phipps went to the woman’s home, climbed on top of her as she lay in the bed and raped her as she struggled to free herself.
A dispatcher at the Lancaster County Jail said Saturday that Phipps was no longer at the jail. Phipps could not be reached Saturday at a Lincoln phone number listed for him.
