It was the day before Thanksgiving when a little girl’s life was changed forever. Now, that little girl is in need the community’s help.

Anjellycka Heisz was traveling from Stapleton to North Platte with her mother and grandmother on November 26, when their vehicle crossed the center line of Highway 83 and collided head-on with a semitrailer, just north of North Platte.

Anjellycka’s mother, Michelle, was killed in the crash, and her grandmother, Vicky Allen was seriously injured.

Anjellycka suffered numerous serious injuries, including a fractured spine.

She is currently at Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, where she was recently fitted with a halo to stabilize her spine, and allow for healing.

In the meantime, her father, Andy Partridge, is unable to work until Anjellycka is released from the hospital.

As a result, the family is asking for help from their fellow Nebraskans.
