Dottie Kramer, 72, of Stapleton, NE passed away December 12, 2014 at Great Plains Health. She was born March 2, 1942 at St. Mary’s Hospital in North Platte to Edward John and Bertha Mae (Kenton) Kramer. She lived in Stapleton on Harry Well’s farm and moved several different places. She attended school at St. Patrick’s High School for one year and graduated from Stapleton High School in 1960. Dottie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Donald Kramer on January 13, 1962. She loved working in the Beauty Shop. She had her first shop in Thedford, then worked for Lavade Barker in Stapleton and then opened her own shop again. Dottie was a very avid bowler. She is survived by her husband, Donald Kramer; brother, Eddie Kramer; sisters-in-law, Jean Kramer and Twyla Kramer; many nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Charles Kramer, Dennis Kramer and Gene (Lenora) Kramer; aunts; uncles and many friends. A memorial has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at the St. John’s Cemetery at Stapleton. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
