Garry Ray Lieberth, age 52, of North Platte, passed away December 12, 2014 in Denver. He was born April 29, 1962 in Denver, CO. He grew up in North Platte, graduating from North Platte High School in 1980. Garry moved back to Denver and was married and to this union they had two children, Keenan and Elise. He was an elevator technician while in Denver and later worked at Nebraska Public Power and Nebraska Fire and Equipment. Garry loved carpentry work, fixing cars, and caring for dogs. Survivors include his parents, Ed and Barbara Dowell of North Platte, daughter, Elise (Stephen) Haagenson of Littleton, Co, son, Keenan of Lakewood, CO, grandchildren, Tayler, Lily, and Gavin, brothers, Dan (Bonnie) Lieberth of Omaha, Tom Lieberth of Northglenn, CO, Larry Lieberth of Maywood, Jerry (Sandy) Lieberth of Holdrege, and Steve Dowell of Wahpeton, ND, step-brother, Scott (Amber) Dowell of Billings, MT, step-sister, Dana Watson of Casper, WY, aunts and uncles, Jim and Sandy Reisinger, Bill and Carol Neumann, and Velda and Lanny Gray, and his special companions, Gauge and Mystic. He was preceded in death by Don Lieberth, Rudy and Bernadine Neumann, and Esther Dowell. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Douglas A. Delp officiating. Private family inurnment will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.
