Florence “Flo” Milroy, age 89, of North Platte, died December 25, 2014 at Linden Court. She was born on March 28, 1925 in Farwell, NE to Martin and Rose (Koslicki) Jasnoch. Flo was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in 1943. On July 22, 1946 she married Claude Milroy. To this union, two children were born, Kenneth and Claudia. Flo worked at the Legion Club for 10 years and off and on at the O’Connor Drug Store. She then went to work for the Holiday Inn and stayed there for 25 years. Flo enjoyed baking and needlework, and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Milroy of North Platte; 3 sisters, Jean Waltemath of North Platte, Rosella (Bill) Murray of Sioux Falls, IA, and Sharon Jasnoch of Omaha, NE; 4 grandchildren, Nicki and Tyler (Amy) Gatlin, and Trevor (Becca) Milroy and Morgan (Travis) Walker; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2001; a daughter, Claudia Gatlin; and a sister Annie (Milford) Schultz.

A memorial has been established to Holy Spirit Catholic Church and online condolences can be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Christian Wake Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Rev. James Novakowski as Celebrant. Burial will be at the North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
