Floyd Joseph ‘Joe’ Hinrich

Floyd-Joseph-HinrichFloyd Joseph “Joe” Hinrich, 50, of North Platte, passed away December 26, 2014 at his home.

He was born October 7, 1964, to Floyd and Jeanne (Horacek) Hinrich at Fullerton, NE.  He graduated from Fullerton High School with the class of “82”.  Joe worked at the packing plant in Grand Island and played the drums in a band for many years.  He was united in marriage to Shawna Comp and to this union a son, Stephan was born.   Joe later moved to Colorado and was united in marriage to Jacque Fields and to this union a daughter, Katie was born.  In 2011, he moved to North Platte, where he was the maintenance supervisor at South Platte Terrace and was self-employed in carpet and flooring.  Joe loved his family, hunting, fishing, camping, Husker’s, Bronco’s, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Stephan Joseph (Nikki) Hinrich of Centerville, SD; his daughter, Katie Hinrich of North Platte; a granddaughter, Zoey Hinrich; extended family, Kevin and Jenny Koziol and family of Fullerton; special friend, Carla Barnum and her family; and many friends.  A memorial has been established in his memory.

Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.  Cremation was chosen.  Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte.  There will be remembrance service from 1 to 3pm Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton.  Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
