OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A 58-year-old man has died after being struck and dragged by a car on the west side of Omaha.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the man was walking north on 204th Street when he was hit around 8 p.m. Thursday by a northbound car. Lt. Rob Jones says the driver reported that she didn’t see the man, who was dragged about 75 yards.
The driver was treated at a hospital for cuts by glass from her shattered windshield.
The names of those involved haven’t been released. The crash is being investigated.
