FREMONT, Neb. (AP) — Police say an 18-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in the shooting death of another man in Fremont.
Police and firefighters responded Sunday morning to the shooting scene. The wounded man was taken to Fremont Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified him as 19-year-old Kevin Kennebeck, of Fremont. Online court records don’t show that the suspect has been formally charged. Police say he and Kennebeck were roommates.
