OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha community leaders are urging anyone with information about Saturday’s shooting that left three dead and five injured to come forward.

Two city council members joined with northeast Omaha pastors and neighborhood leaders to hold a news conference Monday.

Council member Ben Gray urged people not to give into fear of gangs. He says someone knows who is responsible for the shooting and should contact police.

As many as 50 people were at a party when the shooting happened early Saturday morning.

Police have said witnesses at the scene were reluctant to cooperate with investigators.

Witnesses can submit tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers, and they may qualify for a $25,000 reward.
