OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A Douglas County District judge has sentenced Erica Jenkins to life in prison for the 2013 shooting death of a man.
Judge Peter Bataillon also sentenced Jenkins to 80 to 100 years for weapons counts for the Aug. 11, 2013, killing of Curtis Bradford.
Jenkins is the sister of Nikko Jenkins, who last year was convicted in the killing of Bradford, as well as the 2013 shooting deaths of Andrea Kruger and two others in separate attacks.
Erica Jenkins still faces a second murder trial in the slaying of Kruger.
Authorities say the siblings shot Bradford after luring him out on the pretense of committing a robbery.
Erica Jenkins, who’s already serving time for robbery, was not in the courtroom for Tuesday’s sentencing.
