Nebraska On-Farm Research Network to Host Progress Seminars

farmlandLINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska farmers, growers and researchers will gather in three locations in February for updates on more than 75 collaborative projects facilitated by the Nebraska On-Farm Research Network.

The seminars will be held 9:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. on Friday on the College Park Campus in Grand Island; Feb. 16 on the Northeast Community College campus in Norfolk; and Feb. 17 at the University of Nebraska’s Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead.

The On-Farm Research Network, a University of Nebraska extension program, pairs farmers and university faculty to solve issues in production, profitability and natural resources. The projects take place in growers’ fields, using their equipment.

The free seminars will present results from the 2014 growing season. Contact [email protected] to register.
